The report reveals that he has been wasting taxpayer money on frivolous things like luxury travel among other things. Swalwell has some explaining to do, and the American people are not going to be happy when they find out about this.
Townhall reports. A spending report from Rep. Eric Swalwell’s first nine months of 2022 is raising questions about the California Democrat.
Earlier this year, Rob Pyers, the research director of California Target Book, a nonpartisan organization that provides information on congressional and state legislative elections in California, published a list showing Swalwell used proxy voting the second most out of all House members and spent more than $250,000 on travel expenses.
Pyers Tweeted “ Dem Eric Swalwell, who has submitted the 2nd-highest number of “I am unable to physically attend proceedings in the House Chamber due to the ongoing public health emergency” proxy letters, spent $250K+ on travel & car service in the 1st 9 months of the year.”
Congressman Thomas Massie tweeted ““Proxy voting” in Congress was supposedly created for those who had COVID or feared contracting COVID and therefore couldn’t come to work. Now it’s being abused by members who are campaigning for other offices or raising money. Number of times I’ve voted by proxy? ZERO.”
BRIDGE. While Swalwell has no problem not showing up to do his job in DC, he has zero concerns about throwing shade towards Republicans.

Not only did he abuse proxy voting to the second highest degree, but he also managed to rack up a whopping $250,000 in travel expenses. And let’s not forget about his infamous affair with a suspected Chinese spy. It’s time for Swalwell to hang it up and face the consequences of his actions. He is a disgrace to his office and his 15 minutes of fame are over. It’s time for him to do some serious explaining and accountability for his questionable use of taxpayer dollars. Americans deserve better than such an irresponsible and untrustworthy elected official..
