The Regime Punishes Conservative Families, and the GOP Remains Silent.
The political prisoners incarcerated for the non-violent actions on January 6, 2021, are being targeted by the regime. Now, their families are suffering too, and it seems that the GOP and mainstream media continue to turn a blind eye to the injustice faced by these individuals.
Over 90% of the J6 defendants are from low to middle-class families who cannot afford private attorneys, and at least 80% of the FBI arrests were protestors who committed no violence. Since their arrest, many J6 prisoners have set up online fundraising campaigns to help with legal fees. These pages have become a target for the government, which aims to prevent the protestors from personally profiting from the funds raised by supporters.
Prosecutors are increasingly asking judges to impose fines on top of prison sentences to offset these donations, particularly when prisoners have government-funded legal representation. Many fundraising campaigns appear on GiveSendGo, dubbed the “#1 Free Christian Fundraising Site,” inviting community support. However, the Christian faith teaches mercy, yet it seems that the regime is punishing these individuals and their families instead of extending mercy to them.
The Gateway Pundit and its readers raised over $2 million for the January 6 families, and continue to do so to provide support to these political prisoners. With the contempt the government shows for these prisoners and their families, it’s time to ask the question, will any Republican or American stand up against this evil?
The mainstream media remains largely silent on this issue or actively supports the government’s actions. Meanwhile, the J6 prisoners and their families suffer, and the injustice continues.
